On May 21, a total of 13 dinghies carried 825 migrants across the perilous waters of the Channel, resulting in at least two fatalities during one of these journeys.
Nevertheless, the Operation Dynamo simulation proceeded smoothly from Ramsgate to Dunkirk, with only minor disruptions caused by border officials and the French authorities.
